The Future is Now:
Living in AbundancePart 2
Isaiah 55:1 (New King James Version) 1 “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money,
Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.
1. Buy with no money
How can you buy with no money?
The only thing we have is the blood that Jesus shed from the crown of thorns. We have to renew this teaching time after time until the Word enters our heart. When the Word enters our heart we will prosper. The economy may be crashing in the world but it is not crashing here.
2. The key to prosperity -
a. “All I have is yours”
b. “All you have is mine.”
John 17:10 (New International Version) 10All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.
2 Corinthians 9:8 (New King James Version) 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
c. In order for us to live in abundance we must have a heart that is generous.
d. Don’t withhold your offering from the Lord.
Exodus 34:20 (New King James Version) 20 But the firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb. And if you will not redeem him, then you shall break his neck. All the firstborn of your sons you shall redeem. “And none shall appear before Me empty-handed.
Proverbs 8:17-18 (New King James Version) 17 I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me. 18 Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness.
3. How to Achieve Enduring Riches
What are the “enduring riches” that He is talking about?
God is referring to your offering. Your offering – what you give to God - becomes your enduring riches.(Study the Story of the Rich Young Ruler)
Matthew 19:21 (New King James Version) 21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
Matthew 19:29 (New King James Version) 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife[a] or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. A true offering is where you let go of something you love.
Luke 7:5 (New King James Version) 5 “for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.”
The Centurion was generous. He gave money. He built the synagogue. It is not likely that he built it himself. He gave the money for the synagogue to be constructed. The people said “He is worthy because he has given to build the temple of God. What was the result of his generosity?
Jesus spoke the word of healing and his servant was instantly…immediately healed.
