A letter of Gratitude from a life Changed.

To the Body of North Palm Ministries:

Many of ya’ll probably do and do not even know me.  My name is Reggie Tyus.  My middle name is “Praiser”, because I love to praise the Lord and give him his due.  He is worthy!  I joined the church be the way of Tyrell.  He invited me one youth night.  I came out and enjoyed the service.  It really registered to me when I was in the service that God is truly amazing and he is also very, very loving and awesome.  I love him very much.  God is so good!  I love him with all my heart, mind, and soul.  I love to sing, shout, and dance before him.  I love the Lord.  He is good and His mercy endures forever!

I would like to take a brief moment to share what happen in my Vistage meeting today.

This meeting is made up of key executives and CEO’s of major companies. We meet once a month to discuss business trends, and economic statuses.  I attended my first meeting last month. We were fortunate to have a very well known Economist attend as the guest speaker. This individual has over 30 years of experience and a 95% accuracy rate with economic projections. What I found most interesting is that he was stating many of the same projections that Pastor Patricia has been conveying to many of us during the past few months.

I attended my 2nd Vistage meeting today in Columbia. Today’s meeting was concerning financial ratios and bank covenants. I know it sounds boring, but get this and keep in mind this is a secular business meeting…. The leader of our Vistage group began to guide us with Kingdom Principles! He asked us to write down five life goals we each wanted to complete before our life was over. These goals were to consist in personal and professional areas. Once we wrote down our goals he went around the room and asked each one of us to state the first step that would allow our goals to become reality. There were several intelligent statements, many clever steps, and some CEO level answers. Once everyone was done he said, “You are all wrong, the first and most important step to making your goals reality is speaking life to them! you must speak it into reality”  Wow I was floored! I then said to him, “Are you saying that the power is in the tongue and that we speak life or death over ourselves and our goals?”  He let the question process for a brief moment and then he said, “That is exactly what I am saying.”

God is restoring this world in all areas and we will live by Kingdom Principles!

North Palm, Duvall Catering and Trident Technical College Host's a night of Fine Dinning and Entertainment for a Great Cause... The Earthquake relief Fund for Haiti.

As many of you know, due to the 7.0 magnitude earthquake, the country of Haiti is in desperate need of help. North Palm Ministry Center and Trident Technical College have teamed up to raise money to send to Haiti along with a group of servants that will be helping in giving aid to the people of Haiti. One of the ministers at North Palm, Jean Rebecca, is from Haiti. His family still lives in Haiti, and the area where Jean’s family lives was heavily damaged by the earthquake. Jean's family lost their homes and some of their neighbors were killed in the quake. His mother was able to call him just moments after the quake to let him know she was ok. That was the last that Jean heard from his family for a week. On Monday evening, 6 days after the quake,  Jean’s mother was able to contact him. She reported that the family was safe but that they were hungry. Time is of the essence, each person must do all that they can do in order to help the people of Haiti in their greatest time of need. We can all do something. Help us Help Haiti! This Banquet will be a great opportunity for you to give so that the people of Haiti can overcome this tragedy. The event will be a night of fine dining and great entertainment. The date is February 1st. @ 6:00 pm. This tour was an assignment that was given along with two dreams that occurred Thanksgiving 2007. 

The tour was to give history and insight into our city and the forces of darkness that rule over the Charleston area.)

Our 2010 Daniel Fast is underway...  

We are believing for Rescue, Recovery, and Restoration. On saturday January 2nd (the first day of our fast) we had a wonderful informational meeting where the prayer objectives were shared and we were all encouraged about he great adventure that this fast was going to take us to. Pastor Mark and Patricia prayed over each of the 129 warriors that have taken the 21 day challenge. Again we encourage you to use the tools of our website to give and receive information about the fast. One of the areas that you can use is the download area(click this link to go there)In this area you can download a sample menu or the fasting booklet and other information as it becomes available. Another area that you can use is our 2010 Daniel fast Forum area(click here to go there) In this area you can post and read questions about the Daniel Fast. In this area you can also post your rhema words as God speaks to you. Please use these area to encourage yourself and others in the Lord.                            Beginning the year with fasting...

Believing for  RESCUE, RECOVERY, RESTORATION....

Jan. 2-22 embraces our church days of prayer and fasting for the New Year.  We are asking that each one participate in some fashion during this time to prepare yourself for what God has planned for this New Year.  We are recruiting 100 people who will committ to participating in the Daniel Fast over these 21 days.  This will be a intense time of worship, warfare, and victory as we breakthrough to obtain the keys to the city.  The Kingdom of God will set up dominion in the greater Charleston area in 2010!
